One of my stories is The Spectrum, in which a crystalline meteorite lands in a young boy’s cornfield. He and his only family member, his father, run to investigate the crash . The boy, Mike Pucker, jumps into the crater and touches the meteorite and feels a surge of a strange power flow into him. His dad thinks something is wrong and tries to pull him away but is killed by an accidental discharge of energy from his son. Mike learns soon after that that he can fly and do many other strange things, but that a group of thugs have also found the crystal and gained powers.
My other story is called The Red Staff of Rohan. It is a story about a fourteen year old boy who lives on a long gone planet where there were many of the things we have today like clocks. They also have elemental stones, strange stones that can control specific elements such as fire. He finds a fabled staff that contains a fabled elemental stone: the rainbow stone. This stone can control all of the elements. But, with this weapon’s finding, Rohan unlocks a strange curse, bringing the fiercely evil Vantor, the original possessor of the staff. Read the story:
